If I say, "I love you," how does that feel?
Does it feel great? Ache beneath your ribs? Stick somewhere in your gut?
We're talking about love, specifically unconditional love. How can we recognize it? What it isn't. How to give and receive unconditional love. I have trouble in this area; accepting love. Heck! Compliments make me squirm. As I endeavored to find out why, I found a surprising answer. The string led back to the Mean Girl voice inside my head.
You see, toxic thought patterns kept me from receiving love. I'm learning techniques to retrain my brain and can't wait to share those with you.
This is the third of three conversations about the main obstacles that impede our spiritual journey. I'll show you how the inability to receive and give love are keeping you from the good stuff.
Please don't panic if you found the podcast here. You were MEANT to hear this conversation first, apparently.
Made with love; I'll be eagerly waiting to hear your thoughts. If I don't respond right away, it's because I am traveling so I may spend Mother's Day with my adult kids. To all the mothers, I hope you have a blessed weekend. Find time to nap or put up your feet and savor what beautiful children you brought into the world. I love you.
