What is a podcast? “It’s a radio show on the internet. It’s that simple,” states one of the articles I’ve linked to at the bottom of this post.
As my podcast, Curious Cat, nears its three-month mark, I had an AHA! moment. There’s lots of people that have never listened to a podcast out there. I was one of those folks a year ago. I streamed plenty of music, but somehow I hadn’t tapped into the bottomless well of knowledge and humor and incites available via podcasts. Now I’m addicted, often catching up with new episodes as I run or do chores.
Back to that AHA! moment, though. Listening to podcasts is FREE in most instances and can be accessed on your computer, iPad, smartphone, etc. often without downloading or subscribing to an app. I found some fantastic articles to get you started. There is so much great content to discover and explore. I hope that after a few minutes of reading, you’ll feel comfortable diving into podcast listening! From listening to finding ones that interest you to subscribing, the links are below.
Return here after you browse the articles because I’ve listed a couple of my FAVORITE podcasts and added their links so you can join me in my addiction.
As always, offered with love. <3 Jennifer

Podcasts I’m Addicted To (+Curious Cat):
Theories of Everything with Curt Jaimungal – This podcast delves into subjects based on a quest to find a theory for everything, that elusive string that connects science to supernatural phenomenon. Jaimungal is my favorite interviewer for his impeccable show prep, transparent curiosity, and compassionate way of approaching every subject. His guest list is intriguing and I always learn something new. His podcast is searchable on all your (new) favorite listening apps, but this link takes you to iHeart Radio. If you are a visual learner, he is on YouTube. The same episodes are available in video form FREE, including an incredible tutorial about PHYSICS 101, which I am watching now.
A Psychic’s Story – Host, Nichole Bigley, is on a mission to help others not feel alone in their spiritual journeys. By better understanding our spiritual paths and psychic abilities we are able to live in authentic truth, be in alignment with our soul’s purpose, and reach our fullest potential. A top 20 podcast in 136 countries around the world, A Psychic’s Story gives a behind-the-scenes look at and conversations with people who lead supernatural lives among the ordinary. The link takes you to the podcast part of her website, where you can listen directly on your device, but is also searchable on all the listening apps.
Stuff They Don’t Want You to Know – Pure entertainment, their description says it all, “From UFOs to psychic powers and government conspiracies, history is riddled with unexplained events. You can turn back now or learn the Stuff They Don't Want You To Know ...” The link I’ve provided takes you to their PodBean website. You can listen there on all your devices, or search for it on all the listening apps.
That UFO Podcast – If you are at all curious or interested in the possibility of aliens and UFOs (actually called UAPs now) then THIS is the podcast for you. The host interviews experts and keeps you in the know as more eyebrow-raising information drops each week. If you watch History Channel’s Skinwalker Ranch series, they’ve interviewed the property owner and some of the scientists behind this years-long science project in Utah. After the US Congressional hearing, they gave live feedback, and the list goes on and on. The link takes you to their show website and if you scroll down, you can listen for free. Like the others, you can search for this podcast on any listening app.
Angels and Awakening with Julie Jancius – Known as the Angel Medium, Jancius’ voice, sweet and kind, is worth the listen alone. Often, she shares the mic with people that relay their angel stories that are uplifting and hopeful. Some leave me in tears, both happy and almost cathartic, to be honest. The link brings you to her website, but again, you can search by name on your favorite listening app and all her episodes are there FREE.
Curious Cat Podcast hosted by me! - A weekly exploration into what it means to be a soul in a meat suit, hosted by author, Jennifer Hotes. Called, ‘refreshing authentic,’ ‘inviting and accepting,’ a ‘deep-dive into the realm of self-help by educating listeners how to balance their spiritual, mystical, mental, and physical health,’ ‘it teaches listeners to love themselves so they can love others.’ The link brings you to the show website where you can listen on your device, or find a link to the show on your favorite listening app! Made with love.
